COMIC #336: Guess you should update that link or bookmark...

Mega Man
Mega Man is the robot with a passion for violence (though it wasn't always that way). He enjoys the sheer thrill of watching a robot explode one at a time, all the while laughing at their misfortune of meeting him. He enjoys ranting about the smallest things, then ignoring the problem when he's done. However, after beating Magnet Man, his personality is... well, a bit off.

Although this just seems to be an anomaly in his program, Mega Man will discover it's something much more...

Dr. Thomas Light
The, um, "special" genius who programmed Mega Man. Known for being scatterbrained on a good day, he eventually gets the job done. His current project is a peace-keeping robot named Gamma, who he works on alongside Dr. Wily, which is designed to eliminate violence in the world by any means necessary. Whether this will be a blessing or a curse on society has yet to be seen.

Dr. Albert Wily
The "reformed" mad genius. Dr. Wily begrudgingly teamed up with Dr. Light to work on Gamma, though tension between the two is apparent. It is known that Wily wants Gamma for his own purposes, but it is unknown what his intentions are after obtaining the robot. Perhaps he really has changed his ways. Most likely not.

Rush
As Mega Man describes him, he is the "mutant puppy" designed as an "overextravagant spring." After his head went "missing," he has proved time and again his worthlessness. Then again, he's pretty much worthless WITH his head.

Proto Man
Mega Man's mysterious brother. Bossy and egotistical to a HUGE fault, he tries to give Mega Man an edge and improve his combat skills. This usually ends with Mega Man stealing something from him and Proto Man left broken before a battle started.

He did mention some "friends" of his, though...

Roll
Mega Man's sister. She is more timid and child-like than her brother, but refuses to abandon him and will gladly fight if push comes to shove. She will often contest Mega Man's method of fighting and suggest a tactical method above rushing in. Roll does have Mega Man's integration program, so she might have Mega Man's edge against the robot masters.

Mappy
Mega Man's imaginary friend. Being an extension of Mega Man's mind, he is one of the few characters able to put up with Mega Man's shenanigans. Mappy also encourages/causes Mega Man's lust for violence, ultimately snapping him out of his "stupid" mode.

In short, Mappy normally gets Mega Man back on the path of destruction when he strays.

Yoshi Hanabusa
A pawn of the greater evil. Yoshi was sent against Mega Man to test Mega Man's limit against a human foe. However, Yoshi didn't know Mega Man was a robot, and was beaten badly. His employer still feels that Yoshi still fits into his plans, so Yoshi is currently being healed and fitted for bionic limbs at the base.
